Ease of use and flexibility are qualities that everyone looks for in software. Charter School Software by Olmsted Office Systems is a local network and web accounting system for schools. As private schools have specific accounting requirements, this series of programs has been developed.
 
These programs are customizable, work on the web, and all source code is included.  The system is network ready. This program has been in use for five years and allows teachers to enter and view data from their homes, parent locations or remote sites. The purchase order allows student  materials  to be ordered on the web. The programs allow an excel spreadsheet to be created from any of the data for reporting purposes. The software can communicate with other programs through Access, Excel, or SQL.

Student recordsEnter student name, address and cumulative file information. Keep master agreements, grades and transcripts. Create queries and reports as needed.
 
Libray...  Check out books to students and staff. Scan barcodes and print barcodes for books issued. Return books to stock and keep real time status of library for all departments.
 

Web- Maintain current list of school forms. Keep databases current for viewing.

We can convert most data from Quicken and other student records programs. Usually takes one or two days. You can use our servers for $100 per month, including one hour tech support. As with all our software, these programs can be customized, modified and personalized to the users wishes, as all source code is included. Any data can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet or Access database.

The owner, Mike Olmsted is a CPA with 25 years experience in computer accounting systems. In 1972 he began marketing an accounting system written in Basic. In the 1980s he was one of the first clone computer system makers in California.
